We are so excited that Lynne Chinn has agreed to come back to Cape Cod to teach at Highfield Hall again. Last summer she was slated to teach at the National Mosaic Exhibiton on Cape Cod on August 28th and 29th. An uninvited guest arrived to complicate things, though. Her name was Irene and she packed hurricane force winds that pummeled the East Coast. Students from Canada to New Jersey were turned back form their travels. Those who were already in town, though were treated to a marathon class on August 29th - the day after the storm. Once they drove around the fallen trees that blocked the road to Highfield Hall, Lynne was able to teach from 8 am - 6 pm that day and the students were able to learn as much as she could give them.
So, for those who couldn't make it, we hope to see you this year on June 25 - 27th for a sure thing. ( hurricane season doesn't begin unitl late August ;)
