Unveiling the Krocadilio's Mosaic Medallion with a bang

Last weekend was the the annual reunion party of the Harvard Krocadilio's on Cape Cod. It was also a chance to show off my newest mosaic, a commision that I did for the owner of the property where the event was held. The mosaic was placed into the bluestone floor of the handsome pergola pictured above. The mosaic measures 32" diameter. It is made of Nova subway tiles- the same tiles that we used in our mosaic murals at the Shining Sea Bike Path and the Falmouth Dog Park. The property was spectacular with it's beautiful gardens, waterfall and pond and of course an impressive view of Vineyard Sound. The mosaic, a replica of the Kroc's logo took me 44 hours to complete. Everyone was loved it which made me proud.
